Was It James Doakes In The Trailer?
A small piece of a behind-the-scenes teaser that was easy to miss has managed to convince the audience that it was James Doakes, Dexter’s initial arch-enemy, who is at the center of the surprise return. The individual who shouted ‘Surprise, mother******!’ just before being killed conceivably has an option of four possibilities: a flashback, a hallucination, an interaction with some spiritual entity, or an occurrence deep in his subconscious.
